Raised and educated in New York City, Dr. Bernstein recalls how his interest in optometry began. His father, a chemist, instilled in him a love for science and his devoted mother, legally blind, warmed his compassion to help others see. Dr. Bernstein is a graduate of the State University of New York College of Optometry. He is certified to treat and manage ocular disease. He has served as president of the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce network connection. When he is not with his family of patients, Dr. Bernstein spends his time with his wife, an artist and their two children.

Dr. Benham grew up in Indiana, where her childhood family optometrist helped spark her interest in the eye field. During her internship at his office she learned much from her mentor. What impressed Dr. Benham the most was how happy patients were upon receiving their new glasses or contact lenses. Dr. Benham earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1988. Dr. Benham enjoy the communication process involved in caring for her patients and encourages them to feel comfortable asking question and discussing their ocular health. Dr. Benham also mentor optometry and pre-optometry students by allowing them to shadow her in clinic. She helps them explore the optometry career as a prominent part of the healthcare field.

Dr. Lee completed her undergraduate studies at University of California, San Diego and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. She went on to earn her Master's degree in Business Administration at University of California, Irvine. She then completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at Western University College of Optometry. Dr. Lee has been part of the Bernstein and Benham optometry practice since 2016 and is fluent in Mandarin. She believes vision goes beyond 20/20 and provides a thorough eye exam including assessment of eye teaming, focusing and overall ocular health. In her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
